Homework
Don't worry too much about the homework at all. It's not hard. But it can be but that is mostly only when you missed a day of school because then you are behind. But that's the only way of having a lot. Sometimes you actually have no homework at all. But there is one tip, always try to finish your work in class because you will get that for homework. Like in the beginning of the year you get this big fat math text book. and that is mostly where your homework is in. (only for Math). But really. Don't worry.
The Ramp
So there's this ramp at school and we always cross it to get to P.E. and to get to some of our buses. But no one likes it. It hurts your leg muscles and it is not fun to walk on. But too bad cause we have to cross it. It's like a bridge. It goes up then down, but last time i dropped my water bottle and it slipped off of the edge. So i had to go back down, go through the mud and leaves and then finally i got my water bottle back. But that was just horrible. But don't worry too much cause some people do like the ramp. It's just that i don't.

Schedule
The schedule is way more comlicated then in elemantary. Here you have Blue Day, White Day, Blue Star Day and White Star Day. That's the order on your schedule. But this is how it works. On Blue day you will always have math and science together and english with social studies together. But then For the other classes you can have electives. Such as, robotics, french, spanish, music, indo art, design art, technology, drama, etc... But you always need to have P.E. But the electives get chosen for you except for the languages. You don't need to do a language, but they do recommend it. But if you are still confused about the Blue Day and all of that, then that is EASY!!! All it really means is that, pretend you have french and drama on a Blue Day, then on a Blue Star Day drama and then french. But your electives stay the same for those days. But for the Blue Day and White Day, you won't have the same electives. Pretend that for Blue Day, You had math and science first and then english and social studies third. Then on the White Day you would have math and science second and english and social studies last. (you only have 4 blocks in one day, two of those which are cores, math and science and englich and social studies, and two of those which are electives, such as french, spanish, drama, robotics, etc...) So the schedule actually isn't so confusing like it might have looked like. (i was really worried at first too, but i got used to it and after the first 2 days, it will be pretty easy. And another thing is that the electives change every quarter, except for P.E., spanish, french, mandarin and indonesian).
6 Grade Area
The 6 grade area is just a place where most of the 6 graders hang out at tables. Some of the tables are really lopsided but i really enjoy sitting there. The 6 grade area is closest to all of the core classes in 6 grade and it is also close to the swings. There are only 4 swings and a lot of people always hog them, but a lot of people also play tag or just hang out there. But for the 6 grade area, you just eat your lunch there. you also have other places to hang out in, (of course) but the 6 grade area is just one of the main places to stay.
